The road to Summit: Pinnacle #2 starts here with Part 1: Kallix
At Summit, we pride ourselves on not forcing editorial mandates on our creators. As a part of that initiative, we’ve decided against line-wide events with dozens of tie-in issues. Instead, our “events” will take place in the form of a self-contained book released once a year in the Summit: Pinnacle series.
Summit: Pinnacle #1 was released earlier this year and officially established the Summit Universe. Since that was our first release, it read more as an anthology introducing all our characters. Moving forward, Pinnacle releases will feature a single story arc.
Production on Summit: Pinnacle #2 is well underway. In fact, we’ve got quite the surprise for you all. Today, we’re launching The Black Assembly — A Summit: Pinnacle Prelude, a series of four shorts introducing you to the villainous group that invades the Summit Universe in next year’s Pinnacle release.
One short is releasing today—below, in fact—while others are releasing in September, October, and November. Upon the release of the last short, we’ll also launch pre-orders for physical copies collecting all four of the shorts in hopes of getting them out by the end of the year.
Without further ado, meet Kallix — the Black Assembly bruiser from an alien planet far, far away.
