Welcome, and hello!
Summit Comics gets serious about its newsletter
Dear readers. If you’re reading this, it’s because you’ve chosen to be a part of it. Perhaps you signed up for our old newsletter on our website, or you chosen to sign up through one of our campaigns. Either way, Substack is officially the new home for our newsletter.
Why?
Because it fits in really, really well with our plans for the future of this little comic company that could. On this Substack you’ll see exclusive content available nowhere else on the internet.
You’ll get behind-the-scenes looks at titles currently in production. You’ll get glimpses of our marketing and press processes. And eventually, you’ll even get some comics exclusively available through this platform. In fact…
Enter, Jetpack Morgan.
In a few weeks, we’re going to be launching a paid tier that features first-look access at exclusive comics. That starts with Jetpack Morgan, a Sunday comics-inspired pulp-era strip written and drawn by Brian Wolf. The above tease is the first two panels of the first strip.
You’ll also get:
Exclusive comic shorts
Exclusive in-world prose
“Deleted scenes”
Private Q&As or AMAs with Summit creators and staff
Subscriber-only livestreams
And a whole bunch more
But since we want our comics to be available to as many people as possible, we’ll also eventually make the strips free to read a week or two after it first debuts. And we’ll absolutely make sure that we push the same amount of behind-the-scenes content to both free and paid tiers.
After all, you’re helping us build this baby from the ground-up, and we’d love to keep you all involved along the way.
The goal with this is to find a sweet spot with how many posts to do. At worst, no less than one post a week. At best, no more than one a day or every two days, just so we don’t bog down your inboxes all too much.
But that’s enough from me. What would you like to see us share through this newsletter?
Let us know in the comments, and tell a friend to meet you at the Summit!

This is awesome! I love Summit comics and this is a great way to stay in touch and learn about upcoming projects. Thanks
